More recently, Messi was part of the Argentina team that lifted the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He has also won the Ballon d'Or award, given to the world's best player, seven times, the most in history. Messi scored more than 700 goals in a career at Barcelona spanning over 800 games. In August 2021, Messi joined PSG, after spending his previous 18 years with Barcelona. Overall, Lionel Messi's incredible talent, skill, and dedication to the sport have made him one of the most revered and celebrated football players in history.

 

Diego Maradona - Argentina

Diego Maradona is one of the most iconic football players in history, best known for leading Argentina to World Cup victory in 1986. Maradona played for several teams throughout his career, including Boca Juniors, Barcelona, and Napoli. He is famous for the "Hand of God" goal, where he scored a controversial goal using his hand, but also scored what is debated to be one of the greatest goals ever scored. He was also known for his controversial off-field behavior, including his drug use and clashes with the media. In 2018, Ronaldo signed with Italian club Juventus and won two Serie A titles with the team. Ronaldo is the all-time top scorer in the UEFA Champions League, with 135 goals in 183 appearances. He has scored over 800 career goals for club and country, making him one of the greatest footballers of all time. Ronaldo has also been involved in various charitable causes, including donating money to children's hospitals and supporting organizations that fight against poverty. Ronaldo is known for his hard work, dedication, and discipline, both on and off the field. He has often spoken about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and setting goals for himself.

 

Zinedine Zidane - France

Zinedine Zidane is another icon in football, having led France to World Cup victory in 1998. He was known for his incredible skill and vision on the pitch, as well as his calm and collected demeanor.
